When all you know is a single story, about yourself, about your neighbor, about the world, a dangerous thing can happen.
“Single stories create stereotypes. The problem with stereotypes are not that they are untrue, but that they are incomplete” –Chimamanda Adichie
I’ve never heard of this young author. She is an amazing woman. This speach leaves me spellbound!
What a beautiful note. I agree. Chimamanda is a wonderful speaker and writer. I’m afraid she won’t see your note though. This is not her page and I have no idea how to contact her. I simply posted a link to a video of her. I’m sorry if that confused you. God bless.

Dear Chimamanda
For 16 years I have been involved in prison ministry I watched your presentation three times. I gave a presentation last week based largely on The truth of your presentation , and the guys were held spellbound. Of course I didn’t come anywhere close to your eloquence , and I am nearly 70 years old .About the time you think you’ve seen everything you prove me wrong
Your ability To communicate the simplest of ideas and expose the awesome Truth behind them is a real gift from the lord . You’re awesome flashing eyes, and beauty also help. May god bless you ,and your work .
